On a sidenote, I wonder who Shang Ko is. Rumours about the supposed brother of Shang Bo have been spread far and wide. In fact, he’s sitting on my lists of contacts now, unable to harass me since I have long blocked him. To think “Shang Ko” actually thought I was of female gender when he first added me. An invitation to the DHL balloon was instantly met with a click on the block key, however. Some 18 Dragons’ Shang Ko, you know.

By the way, I think my A-Math owns now.

PSP Mania

This is what I saw when I appropriated Wanker’s PSP from his bag today. Ceramic white coated with yellow stains, and in more severe cases, brown. Yuck, I wonder what horrors have befallen this hapless object of need.

Dismissal was at 1.40pm for school lessons. Went to 85 with the whole bunch of them for lunch. The vegetable rice(cai fan) there is nice and cheap, since 2 meat, some tofu and an egg cost just $3.50. Owning. Went back to class for remedial after that, and even later on was the concert.

The concert was kind of disappointing, since we did not get to see any screw-ups perform. Apparently, a screening of sorts had been done before the concert, and all rejects were barred from stage. Bad move, the concert was not as entertaining as it could otherwise have been. On a sidenote, the opera troop was good though. Ordered KFC from the under-par KFC delivery service halfway through the concert.

Walkabout after that was a joke. PSPs were brought out and some rumbling got underway. The KFC motorcycle was not there at 7.20pm, the pre-determined time. Several checks were carried out but to no avail. Finally, the money paid for the delivery was refunded, when the delivery man suddenly arrived! Oh my. The Popcorn Chicken, which had grown soggy, was unfinished, and Looly the bucking cheapo polished them all up.

More rumbling happened in the 3L classroom, and a poor lantern burst into flames! Wanker’s memory stick went on a journey of self-discovery, wonder where it is now?

It’s boring now. What to do hmm?

Oh my, a pink Bugatti Veyron!

For those who prefer their Porsches in pink. What fatfat lol?

Wow, I didn’t know this could actually be bought. Though, the design leaves something to be desired, particularly the ears. With this car, you can’t go into multi-storey or basement carparks, for the obvious reason that the ears would break off upon hitting the height marker.

I’ve sworn not to use the computer, and yet I have failed to honour it again! Oh no!

Imbalanced

The Ultima Factory, who are the current world record 0-100mph-0 holders, today proved beyond any doubt that the Ultima GTR is the fastest accelerating and deceleratingroad car on the planet by setting a new world record time of 9.8 seconds for the 0-100mph-0 sprint. This is the first ever sub ten seconds 0-100mph-0 recorded in the world!

The Record Breaking Ultima GTR.

The standard factory production specification Ultima GTR was powered by a 377c.i 685bhp Chevrolet V8 engine once again built by American Speed who are the official Original Equipment engine suppliers to Ultima. This engine is a standard part option available from the American Speed pricelist.

The Ultima GTR stormed from 0-60mph in 2.8secs and 0-100mph in 5.8 secs which are in themselves world record times, and braked from 100mph to zero in just 3.6 secs.

Richard Marlow, director of Ultima Sports Ltd and driver of the Ultima GTR during the world record run said “Our new world record once again proves that the Ultima GTR is truly the fastest supercar currently available in the world today, and by a substantial margin. What’s more as with all factory spec Ultima’s the devastatingly fast world record breaking GTR is equally at home on the public roads as it’s an absolute pleasure to drive at normal road speeds thanks to the car’s user-friendly nature and smooth power banded engine. We are also currently installing a 640bhp engine into one of our other demonstrators, to be named the Ultima GTR640 in commemoration of all of our existing world records achieved with 640bhp. We look forward to the Stig taking on allcomers around the Top Gear test track in our demonstrator assuming of course that the BBC feel it is appropriate to give our British built sportscar the opportunity to humiliate their current lap record holder the Ferrari Enzo.”

The Ultima GTR used on the successful record attempt was fully road legal, fitted with road tyres and was driven to and from the test venue. Once again the world record was strictly conducted, overseen and verified by an official from Datron Technology who are acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records and the motoring press as official timekeepers, using state of the art Microsat GPS equipment.

A submission has been sent to the Guinness Book of Records.

Also the data sheet shows that the full potential of the Ultima GTR at the 0-100mph-0 sprint still hasn’t been realized because if you take our fastest recorded 0-100mph time of 5.5secs (achieved during a successful 0-150mph world record run in September 2004 when track temperature was higher) and marry it to our fastest recorded 100mph to zero braking time of 3.6secs, then a low 9 secs 0-100mph-0 run is possible.That’s something to aim for another day.”

Feeble Life

Today is a sad day indeed for humankind.

First, the crashing of a budget airline in Phuket. I saw it on the news just now during dinner, and can’t help but feel a tinge of pity for these departed souls. The other part of me wants to laugh at them for taking a budget airline. Budget airlines, in my humble opinion, is like choosing a dirty toilet in a hawker center over a luxurious toilet in a hotel room: you get what pay for. Ten cents versus ten hundred dollars. Oh well thats just the cynical bit. Many condolences to the families of those who died in the crash, and hopefully you all can take a message away from this disaster- never take budget airlines, no matter how cheap they might be. Service sucks, seats sucks, and the aeroplane is rigged to crash after a predetermined number of trips, much like a Chery QQ car.

Preceding this, is the death of professional rally car driver Colin McRae. You might have heard of him from a particular series of racing games: Colin McRae Racing. Although I have never watched rallies, F1 races or anything of the sort before, the memories drawn from the games are enough to tug at a heartstring or two. Yet another condolence sent out, I guess. For those of you who want to know, he died in a helicopter crash. Seems like something is wrong with the air today.
